Hi 👋🏻
I’m Vrushti —
Product & UX Designer

I’m passionate about creating cool, intuitive, human-centered experiences that integrate into everyday life. I believe that great design simplifies complexity and empowers users without demanding their attention. My work combines systems thinking, visual storytelling, and user research to craft solutions that are not only functional but meaningful.

I’m a recent graduate from California College of the Arts with a major in Human-Computer Interaction Design with minor in Computational Practices. I’ve worked across web, mobile, and connected device projects, leading the design process from research to shipping products with a focus on user-centered thinking and strategic problem-solving. With a keen eye for detail, I enjoy diving deep into systems to uncover problems and solve them through thoughtful UX and feature innovation.

I’m always curious about how design fits into broader product ecosystems, particularly how new product innovations are structured and scaled to support growth. I’m driven by curiosity, fueled by feedback, and always seeking ways to create experiences people don’t just use, but enjoy the functionality!

I bring 3+ years of design, a year and a half of it professional experience, and almost none of it in the same lane twice. I've designed a biometric security interface for a smart home hardware company, investment-matching flows for an AI-driven startup, scheduling systems for engineering software, brand visual systems for marketing clients, website content and visual redesigns for nonprofits, and 0→1 design systems for an AI education-tech platform.

Each of those projects taught me something different: where my instincts are sharp, and where I still have to slow down and check my work. I keep choosing projects that push on both.

What stays constant across all of it is how I show up: full ownership of the problem, not just the screens. I pair close, sometimes obsessive attention to detail—the kind that notices a 2px misalignment or a confusing microcopy choice—with decisions that are backed by research, not instinct alone.

In fast-moving, ambiguous environments, that combination is what lets me ship something polished and strategically right, not just one or the other.

What I Bring to the Table

Product Design · Interaction Design · Visual Design · Information Architecture · Design Systems · Product Design Strategy · Inclusive Design · Accessible Design (WCAG) · Wireframing · Prototyping · Visual Storytelling · Storyboarding · Journey Mapping · Branding · Cross-Platform Systems · Responsive and Adaptive Design for Mobile and Web

How I Learn

User Research · Usability A/B Testing · Heuristic Evaluation · Competitive Analysis · Quantitative Insights · Affinity Mapping

AI is part of my design process, not a shortcut.

I use it throughout my workflow to accelerate research, generate and test ideas, build interactive prototypes, and validate concepts quickly. It helps me work faster and explore more possibilities, while human empathy drives the strategy, refines information architecture, experiences, and craft behind every product.

I've been actively experimenting with AI-native workflows and vibe coding, integrating tools like Claude, Cursor, Figma MCP, ProtoPie, and Lovable into how I plan, design, and ship, not just as a research aid, but as part of the build itself.

The work shown here reflects that ongoing exploration.
